Have you ever thought, "I want to change the world...but I don't know where to start?" You're not alone. Generation Distinct was born from this very question. Our founder, Hannah Gronowski Barnett, saw that many young adults were full of big dreams, ideas, and aspirations for making a positive impact—but few were turning those dreams into action. There was a clear gap between passion and action. Hannah began asking, "What is missing?" With a team of leaders around her, she realized the answer: strategy. The gap between passion and action is a clear plan to move forward.
This revelation ignited a deep passion in Hannah to ensure that every young adult with a desire to make an impact would have the strategy, resources, and mentorship needed to take real steps toward change. Together, they built a process to guide young adults through discovering their purpose, creating a plan to live it out, and finding support along the way.
Today, Generation Distinct has reached young adults in nine countries and across the U.S., helping them uncover the wrong they were born to make right—and providing the strategy to set it in motion. Not only that, we offer the support of a global community and leadership training to help young leaders sustain their purpose. Our vision is to reach thousands of young adults worldwide and equip them to create lasting change.

Cohort Overview and Expectations
The Generation Distinct Cohort is a 4-month immersive experience designed to help you discover your purpose and take steps toward living it out. By applying, you are committing to a transformative journey that will require intentional time and energy.
Cohort Call Schedule:
Launch Call: March 9th at 8 PM CT
Monthly Cohort Calls:
April 13th
May 11th
June 8th
July 13th
All calls take place at 8 PM CT.
Please place a hold on your calendar for these dates now in case your application is approved. Before applying, confirm that you are available for the Cohort Launch Call on March 9th. If you cannot attend the Launch Call, we recommend waiting for the next Cohort. You are still welcome to apply, but please indicate in your application that you'd like to join a future Cohort instead.
Time Commitment:This cohort requires a commitment of 1-3 hours per week over the course of 4 months. This includes monthly calls, homework, and other activities designed to help you grow in your purpose. In addition to the group calls, we encourage you to take advantage of one-on-one coaching calls, small group discussions, and additional learning opportunities that are part of this experience. To maximize the impact, we encourage you to fully immerse yourself in the process for these four months.
Financial Investment:The cost for this cohort is $50 per month for 4 months. We believe that by investing in yourself, you are demonstrating a commitment to taking your calling seriously. If you are unwilling or unable to make this investment at this time, we encourage you to explore other development opportunities. Many young leaders find that their pastors, parents, bosses, or other leaders are willing to invest in their personal development.
