Week Forty Seven

This week, young people from around the world will unite as we tackle

The Give A Coat Challenge.

More than 45 million individuals live below the poverty line in the United States.  We have the opportunity to make a difference and remind them they are not forgotten.

This week, sacrifice your time and your resources to give to someone who is is need.

Give up something you have to remind a real individual they are not forgotten.  Do something that impacts your community and the individuals who live right in your town.

Here’s how this challenge works:

Find a coat in your closet or go buy one and bring it to a donation center, homeless shelter, or a local ministry.  As you do this, think about the millions of people who are in need of basic items like a coat and pray for the individual who will receive yours.

Jesus calls us to care for people in need.

When we do, we reflect God’s heart for justice in a way that truly makes a difference in our area.

Take a picture of the coat you are donating and post it on social media to inspire your community to get involved.

Be sure to include the hashtag #GenDWeeklyChallenge in your post to join the conversation and a link to our website so others can join the challenge.
