Blogging Over At The Rebelution Blog Today!

7 years ago,  two brothers inspired one 13 year old girl to believe something greater for her generation.

When I was a new teenager, I read a book called, "Do Hard Things" by Alex and Brett Harris.

Do Hard Things is a book written for teens by teens, calling the potential out of our generation and challenging young people to do hard things and defy the expectations the world has for us. They called this idea the, "Rebelution-A Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations."

Alex and Brett Harris started writing a blog, which grew into a book, which grew into a conference that toured around the world. I was 13 years old when I first read the book and the blog and I attended the conference shortly after.

God used the Rebelution to first ignite a fire within me to start Generation Distinct.

Today, I cannot even say how honored I am to be writing over at the Do Hard Things Blog and sharing some of the passion I have for Generation Distinct.

What is possible when a generation stops assuming that someone else will take care of the brokenness in the world - or that someone else will capitalize on current opportunities - and realizes that they are called to take action?
